What is Skyalia?
Skyalia is a UK travel booking platform that searches flights, stays, ferries, rail, transfers, car hire, eSIMs and experiences in one place, then lets you assemble them into a single journey. Each element is booked and priced separately with its own supplier terms — Skyalia is the search and booking layer, not a tour operator selling packages.
What is an arrival window?
An arrival window is Skyalia’s estimate of when you will actually walk out of the destination airport — not when the plane lands. It adds a realistic figure for taxi-in, immigration and baggage at that specific airport to the scheduled arrival time, so a transfer or car hire can be timed to when you emerge, rather than to a landing time you then spend an hour behind. It is an estimate for planning, not a guarantee.
Is my trip sold as a package?
No. Each element of a Skyalia journey is booked and priced separately, and each carries its own supplier terms. Where a combination creates a Linked Travel Arrangement, we tell you so at checkout and show the disclosure the regulations require.
What does the price include?
Everything we know about at the point of quoting: the supplier fare, taxes, our margin and card charges. Anything payable locally — a resort fee, a fuel deposit — is stated before you pay, not after.
My flight is delayed. What happens to the rest?
We track the status of every booked flight. If the arrival moves materially, we flag the affected transfer and stay and contact you. Automatic rescheduling is on the roadmap, not live yet.
How do I change or cancel something?
From your account, under Bookings. What is possible depends on the fare or rate you chose — the exact rules for each item are shown before you pay and again on your confirmation.
Do you store my card?
Never. Payment is handled on PayPal’s secure checkout, and your card or PayPal balance details are never held on Skyalia systems. Where a supplier requires passport or date-of-birth data, it is encrypted at rest before storage.
